Position Overview:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our Finance team.
- This role is responsible for evaluating and managing credit risk for new and existing customers, ensuring adherence to corporate credit policies, and supporting cash flow optimization.
- The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, experience in credit management, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate customer credit risk through comprehensive financial analysis, business plan assessments, and review of third-party credit data (e.g., D&B, Moody’s, Credit Safe).
- Perform in-depth credit reviews and propose credit limit and term adjustments as necessary, aligned with Client Global Policies.
- Approve credit limits and customer order releases within Delegation of Authority thresholds.
- Collaborate on AR reviews to address delinquent accounts and resolve issues affecting credit holds.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, including sales, collections, and operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and company credit policies.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, SAP, and Get Paid for analysis, reporting, and workflow execution.
- Apply knowledge of construction/trade industry practices such as liens, bonds, UCC filings, and bankruptcy claims when evaluating credit risk.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate finance or credit management environment.
- Familiarity with regional and global credit bureaus (e.g., Dunn & Bradstreet, Cortera, Credit Risk Monitor).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP and Get Paid platforms.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work experience in a construction or trade environment.
- Understanding of financial instruments related to trade credit (liens, bonds, etc.).
