Rangam is seeking candidates for a Contract role as a Bench Scientist  with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Groton,CT, , location.


Schedule: Monday – Friday / First shift

 

Position Summary

  • Seeking a contractor to join the Pfizer Pharmacokinetics, Dynamics, and Metabolism’s Enzymology group in Groton, CT.
  • This laboratory-based role will support carry out in vitro assays to investigate drug metabolism, enzyme kinetics and drug-drug interactions.

 

Position Responsibilities

  • Routine duties may include but are not limited to generation of samples from in vitro studies using biological matrices, analyzing samples by LC-MS/MS, data processing and reporting, and routine lab activities (e.g., stocking consumables, buffer preparation).
  • The contractor will maintain an electronic lab notebook. Effective oral and written communication, the ability to work effectively with a team, and computer proficiency are required.
  • Responsible for general laboratory work involving the study of the metabolism of drugs in vitro. Work will involve generation of in vitro samples, sample analyses using LC-MS/MS and interpretation and presentation of data.

 

Education And Experience

  • BA + 3 years’ experience, MA + 1 year experience, HM open to PhD candidates
