Construction Superintendent

Description

Candidates will need to be local or willing to relocate at their own expense.

Locations: Must be able to travel between both sites daily

• Indiana Area School District, Indiana, PA

• Conemaugh School, Johnstown, PA

• Would love someone with MEP project experience, but will accept someone with large construction project oversight experience
• Prefers someone who has recently worked in PA schools and has already cleared the background screenings required for PA School Districts 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings
• Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues
• Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation
• Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
• Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance.
• Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors
• Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors
• Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years Construction Superintendent experience.
• Ability to work with and knowledge of multiple construction trades
• Ability to proficiently work with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Have driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to work all shifts and days
• Able to complete Pa background checks to work in Pa schools
• Have a mobile phone
