Rangam is seeking candidates for a Contract role as a Senior Procurement Specialist with our client Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Seeking candidates in Tampa,FL (Hybrid) or willing to relocate.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Source-To-Pay Procurement- Sr. Associate responsible for supporting vendor management, promotion and execution of correct sourcing, and contracting practices against appropriate Pfizer policy; supporting good supplier performance process & supplier development to maximize value and interaction for Pfizer stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Stakeholder Interaction & Support
- Support local PGS/R&D site stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements, providing guidance procurement best practices and procedures
- Engage and interact with Category Management, Program Operations and Business Engagement teams, to capture consistent category level practices and expectations
- Support execution of sourcing strategies that support business objectives and deliver value • Contribute to the discussions on program processes needed to coordinate across sites and stakeholder teams. Operational Excellence
- Support execution of contracts renewal and implementation and sourcing (end-to end bid events) • Identify and evaluate participating suppliers, against the scope of services being provided through program.
- Perform analysis of spend and PO data to confirm program scope and investment value by site
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in: Business Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- Knowledge of working with indirect procurement services and/or projects
- Ability to coordinate business operations, client engagement and customer relationship management
- Ability to support collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as operations, finance, and legal teams, to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
- Experience in identification of local suppliers, supporting negotiation for favorable pricing, and tracking cost savings
- Ability to build material for presenting to executive leadership
- Experience in developing and maintaining documentation related to procurement activities, including supplier contracts, purchase orders, and delivery reports
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Experience working with Vendor Management System and processes helpful •
- Effective communications skills, Business English required
Experience
- Typical Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience in sourcing & procurement (1+ yrs for MBA/MS) • Experience of maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
- Experience with contract negotiations Knowledge
- Awareness of Sourcing, Procurement strategic priorities
- Basic knowledge of procurement practices & supplier evaluation methodologies
- Knowledge of analytical skills and comfort with standard analytical methods and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Access)
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, and other relevant software
- Basic knowledge of communication platforms
- Basic understanding of Third-Party Risk Management
HYBRID SCHEDULE OF 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK IN OFFICE IS REQUIRED
