Description
Must be ONSITE (no remote work)
Actual hours are flexible, but 8 hours per day. I am open to specific start/end times. Start between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM (Flexible)
Worker will need to use Pallet Jack for sure, 3D printers but we can train, general lab electrical/mechanical equipment such as force gauges, calipers, scales, hand tools, multimeters, computers, and if they are familiar already, fabrication using machine shop or soldering
Notes:

- SolidWorks – preferred
What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks):
- Typical day will be assisting R&D engineers (Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustaining) in running experiments, troubleshooting failures, making equipment modifications, building prototypes, and reviewing engineering designs for usability.
- We also ask that this person coordinate calibration of equipment and maintain lab organization.
- Depending on background, machining or soldering would be asked.
- All work done under the direction of engineering manager and/or senior engineering staff.
Preferred background/prior work experience?:
- Electromechanical assembly and troubleshooting/repair experience is required.
- Experience in medical device R&D setting is beneficial but not required.
- Experience is data collection/measurement systems is beneficial
- Experience conducting and documenting engineering testing is beneficial

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts component, module, and or system testing to approved protocols.
- Creates, modifies, or assembles prototype electrical, mechanical, or software components as specified by Engineer
- Records activities and results according to approved Engineering Documentation guidelines.
