What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Manage projects and set objectives, leading people, technology, and financial resources.
- Recognize development needs, create opportunities for colleagues, and manage the performance of both direct and indirect reports.
- Work with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, playing a critical role in planning and managing the efficient flow of products and services through the Pfizer supply chain cycle, ensuring timely arrival and acceptable quality of products.
- Guide the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes and systems to meet customer requirements.
- Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department, typically involving cross-functional representatives, and facilitate end-to-end Supply Chain and Materials/Logistics operations.
- Motivate and support the team to meet goals, encourage team members to identify and raise issues concerning product quality, delivery, cost, and safety.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of
experience; OR a Master's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an Associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a High school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid grasp of industry knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Logistics and/or Warehouse operations
- Ability to manage and lead teams effectively
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
- Experience with project management
- Knowledge of logistics software and systems
- Comprehensive understanding of business operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in coaching and developing team members
