Description
100% onsite role
Shift Hours: 7am-4pm. Some flexibility to start/end time. As long as work gets done, start time negotiable. Onsite 5 days/week.
- 1-3 years exp in precision mechanical inspection desired
- 3 years of inspection experience using an optical comparator desired
Top Skill Sets Desired:
- Fundamental Inspection knowledge. How to use measuring tools like calipers, pin gauges, and Optical Comparators and fill out inspection records.
- Solid base using various computer applications (Agile, Oracle, Office etc.)
- Detail Oriented and thorough
Looking for experience in Mechanical testing environments, not pharmaceutical
- Ideally no OT required.
- Wont be standing or sitting all day. Intermittent movement between office spaces
- Chemicals possibly to be worked with – salene, isopropyl alcohol
- Soft skills: Organized, detail oriented, independent, able to complete tasks w little to no oversight. Able to take direction with accountability.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs Incoming Inspections on chemicals, labeling and components using equipment such as optical comparator, calipers, microscopes and go and no-go gauges.
- Complete and or review Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection documentation. Component Inspection Folders, checklist, release forms, calibration data records etc..
- Performs in process and final inspections to support Manufacturing
- Ensure that quality records are maintained according to the quality company SOP
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Associate technical degree or equivalent experience
- 3 year experience in Quality Inspection / Quality Technician
- Experience of GMP, 21CFR820, ISO 13485
- 1-3 years experience in precision mechanical inspection
- Ability to understand schematics, drawing, BOM’s and test processes
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) required.
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems highly desirable
- Ability to lift objects that may weigh up to 30 pounds
