Education:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for automated molecular diagnostic instruments.
• Support Panther System and Panther Fusion System software platforms.
• Participate in sprint planning and software work breakdown activities.
• Develop software requirements and specifications.
• Enhance existing applications through refactoring.
• Perform code reviews.
• Conduct unit and acceptance testing.
• Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• C#
• .NET
• SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

Additional Requirements:

• Software development experience.
• Object-oriented programming experience.
• Experience working within structured development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
• AI knowledge/exposure.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar.
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Job Summary

• Design, develop and test software on multiple instrumentation platforms (Panther System, Panther Fusion System) and a menu of assays (Aptima STIs, Aptima Virology, Panther Fusion Respiratory) for our automated molecular diagnostic instruments
