EHS Data Strategy & Reporting Analyst

Project Overview

• This project modernizes EHS program operations by developing foundational digital processes, standardized workflows, and integrated dashboards that consolidate safety, environmental, and compliance data into consistent, accessible systems.
• The effort focuses on building core Power BI dashboards, establishing Maximo-based incident and compliance workflows, and designing streamlined data processes that reduce manual work, improve accuracy, and enable real-time insight.
• These initial components form the baseline needed to evaluate long-term maintenance demands and determine future resource requirements.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Design structured data models to support EHS reporting, compliance, and KPI tracking.
• Define and document data flows across Maximo, Power BI, SharePoint, ClearPoint, and other enterprise systems.
• Develop standardized, scalable processes for data intake, cleaning, transformation, and validation Rebuild, refine, and standardize existing Power BI dashboards to improve reliability and usability.
• Migrate legacy or manual reporting tools into structured, automated dashboards.
• Integrate data across enterprise systems to automate reporting and reduce manual burden.
• Maintain documentation describing dashboard logic, calculations, assumptions, and business rules.
• Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables related to dashboard development and data process improvements.
• Track progress, maintain project documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Skills

• Strong data modeling and data architecture skills for building and managing structured datasets
• Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, dataflows, semantic models, and dashboard development
• Experience with Maximo data structures, fields, and system logic
• Ability to perform rigorous data QA/QC to ensure accuracy and reliability Skill in cleaning, restructuring, and standardizing complex or legacy datasets
• Ability to design automated data pipelines and integrate data across multiple enterprise systems (Power BI, Maximo, SharePoint, ClearPoint) Project management skills to plan, track, and deliver digital build-out work
• Ability to clearly document processes, system logic, and data transformations Strong analytical thinking for interpreting EHS, operational, and compliance data
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues, system inconsistencies, and dashboard errors Effective communication for collaborating with EHS, IT, operations, and leadership stakeholders

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science).
• Equivalent combination of education and professional experience may be considered.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) or equivalent data analytics certification
• Demonstrated experience managing small projects, strategic workstreams, or process-improvement initiatives.
• Ability to apply basic project-management tools (WBS, Gantt charts, schedules, stakeholder coordination, task tracking).
